A short drive away is Castle Howard, where Brideshead Revisited was filmed, with its beautiful grounds, garden centre and shops. Other attractions in the local area include Rievaulx Abbey & Temples, North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Eden Camp modern history theme museum.
